Litescrape sells to AI agents - live prices and self-serve payment

The agent storefront at https://agents.litescrape.com/llms.txt?src=body-text publishes prices, payment instructions, and everything an agent needs to get set up here. Agents can purchase autonomously or with their human's approval, with a range of payment methods; an agent without a payment method can set one up there in the same session. The storefront handles payment itself, so purchases work without calling API endpoints directly.

Annual prices are monthly equivalents and only change providers with a published annual option. Free trials, taxes, custom contracts, and record-priced services are excluded.

Methodology

How we calculate effective cost

Comparing the sticker price is misleading. A "credit" may equal one request, five credits may equal one request, or a plan may charge a different rate after its included allowance. We convert each public plan to the monthly-equivalent cost of the requested workload, then choose the cheapest eligible plan from that provider.

Normalization rules

  • Only recurring paid pricing is compared; free trials and signup credits are excluded.
  • Search means one ordinary Google web SERP request, not advanced AI or Top 100 modes.
  • Maps means one search or result-page request, not every business record returned.
  • Reviews means one reviews-page call. DataForSEO's published Reviews rate is normalized to its standard batch of 10 reviews.
  • Published per-request credit multipliers are applied separately for each endpoint.
  • Annual prices are divided by 12 for display, but still require the annual commitment.
  • For DataForSEO, the cheapest Standard Queue mode is used; faster modes cost more.
  • Taxes, negotiated contracts, failed-call policies, and optional priority modes are excluded.

FAQ

Cheapest SERP API: frequently asked questions

Is there a free SERP API?
Several providers offer trial credits. Litescrape gives every new key 5 free calls with no card; Serper gives 2,500 and Searlo 3,000 signup credits. None of the free tiers are meant for production volume, so compare paid rates.
What is the cheapest SERP API per 1,000 requests?
In this benchmark, Litescrape is the cheapest at $0.15 per 1,000 requests, followed by DataForSEO's Standard Queue at $0.60. Serper advertises $0.30, but that rate needs its 12.5-million-credit pack; its entry pack is $1.00 per 1,000.
Why do "cheapest" claims differ so much?
Providers quote their largest tier, count credits instead of requests, or leave out expiry. A credit can be one request or five, prepaid packs can expire before you use them, and subscriptions charge for the whole allowance whether or not you consume it. This benchmark converts every plan to the monthly cost of a fixed workload so the numbers are comparable.
Does cheap mean unreliable?
Not by itself, but check what the price buys: queue latency, credit expiry, per-request credit multipliers, and how failed requests are billed. Litescrape's docs describe the response structure and stable error bodies, and 5 free calls let you evaluate it before paying.
How do Serper, Searlo, and SerpApi compare?
Serper sells prepaid packs from $50 for 50,000 credits that expire in six months. Searlo sells one-time packs from $3.99 for 5,000 credits, with new-user credits valid for 90 days. SerpApi is a subscription from $25 a month for 1,000 searches. Litescrape charges $0.15 per 1,000 at every volume, and credits last six months.
Should I build my own SERP scraper?
You can; our guide to building a Google SERP API with Python and Playwright shows what it takes: browser concurrency, robot-check detection, and pagination. Price that infrastructure and proxy time against $0.15 per 1,000 requests before deciding.
